The only thing I can think to suggest, maybe go to your mountain’s priest-guild. I am not too versed on their magics but I am positive a little God-whispering will get you changed back good as new, before anyone notices, hopefully.
Or, at the very least, we can hope a wee baddie takes you out and saves you from the misery of being an elf. Far better at Moradin’s table anyway, am I right?
