Mirage #58 STEM in Speculative Fiction w/ J.L. Willow

On episode 58 of Mirage, writer J.L. Willow joins me to chat about stem in speculative fiction writing.

Stem stands for Science, technology, engineering, and mathematics, my guest added the arts to make me feel better. This term is typically used when addressing education policy and curriculum choices in schools to improve competitiveness in science and technology development. It has implications for workforce development, national security concerns, and immigration policy and of course, it makes writing stronger and more believable.

And of course, it makes writing real and better.

J. L. Willow is a high school student in New Jersey bound for Engineering school. Her first novel Scavenger is available to purchase through her Amazon page.
